"COMPLIANCE IS IMPORTANT TO US AND TO OUR DELIVERY SERVICE PROVIDERS TOO. "

Leapro’s Compliance Requirements for Delivery Partners in Germany

To ensure full compliance with German law, Leapro requires all delivery service partners and subcontractors to meet the following key obligations:

  1. Legal & Tax Compliance

    • Partners must provide valid business registration, tax identification (e.g., Steuernummer), and, if applicable, VAT registration (USt-ID).

    • Compliance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and tax regulations is mandatory, including proper invoicing and social security contributions for employed drivers.

  2. Equipment & Safety Standards

    • Delivery vehicles (bikes, vans, etc.) must meet German traffic laws (StVZO), including insurance, roadworthiness, and safety certifications.

    • Partners must ensure drivers are wearing reflective vests and delivery equipment (e.g., company owned phones for GDPR compliance, security shoes when entering Leapro warehouse network or while operating Leapro’s clients deliveries) complies with industry-specific regulations (e.g., hygiene standards under LFGB).

  3. Subcontractor Accountability

    • Any subcontractors used by partners must also adhere to Leapro’s compliance standards. Partners remain liable for subcontractors’ legal, tax, and operational adherence.

By fulfilling these requirements, partners ensure seamless collaboration with Leapro while upholding German legal and operational standards.
